Education Importance

My thoughts about education have changed over the years. I used to think that as long as I had common sense I would be ok. I have come to learn over the years that there is so much more out there for me to learn and it will take you far in life. Its not just about the degree you obtain but also about how you use the knowledge you have gained. Now that I am older and have had more real world experience I try to convince those younger than me that education is very important. If you want to get a good job you need some kind of training. It is a competitive world and right now more than ever employers are looking at your experience and education. I wish I would have been smart enough to get my degree right after high school. At that point I lived with my parents and didnt have many responsibilites. It is more challenging later in life as I have found out for myself. it is harder to get the job of your dreams and harder to complete your degree as well.
